I stumbled upon this location about a year and a half ago. I had discovered it during the fall season when the colors were at it's peak. I loved the variety of backgrounds in one location. I can get an album filled with variety in a short session. Want a barn? Flowers? Greenery? This location has it all!

What I also love about this location is that it is gorgeous in every season! Each season presents a completely different look. Recently, I had shot a maternity session in the snow. I loved the white blanket over the forest preserve. The sun sparkled on the snow around the mommy and daddy to be.

After winter, comes...Spring! LeRoy Oakes becomes filled with a purple field of flowers. It is a gorgeous backdrop.

My absolute favorite season at LeRoy Oakes hands-down is the fall. The colors are gorgeous and the barn lends itself so well to the fall theme. I typically host a few days of mini sessions in the fall and winter at the forest preserve.
